What I Want

I had time to sit and ponder today - and decided it's time to write down what I want. Strangely enough (to me, at least) I've begun to think about dating again. So - on that topic, I've made a list of what I'm looking for right now.

*A best friend
*Someone who wants to know about every moment of every day - both good and bad
*Someone who will cheer me on and encourage me - gently
*Someone who is willing to pick me up and dust me off when I fall
*Someone who smiles and their smile makes me feel like the sun has come out and is shining
*Someone who is willing to travel and be adventurous with me
*Someone who is willing to share their struggles and allow me to champion them
*Someone who is willing to hold me, make me feel hope, and make love to me
*Someone who is willing to love and support my girls
*Someone who can respect and help me remember Kevin & Emily

Walt Disney and heading home

I was able to visit the Walt Disney Family Museum before I headed home. It was a great stop for me and it was fascinating.  I was able to see the WW2 exhibit they had but pictures weren’t allowed. After that, I headed to the airport to fly home. My puppies were so happy to see me!

Visiting the redwoods and heading south again

I had arrived at my adorable Airbnb right around midnight and crawled into bed. I was in Miranda, CA. I woke up a few hours later and got ready for my day. It was finally time to see the redwoods! They were amazing! I went to one of the visitors centers and learned a little bit about the history of the area and then wandered on a little nature walk.  Then I headed to one of the drive thru trees that are in the area. It was crazy! I headed further south from there and eventually crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and arrived at my hotel for the night. I had some down time to rest and enjoyed that. Then, I headed out for a nighttime tour of San Francisco.    I did some souvenir shopping and ordered in some dinner before getting some sleep. Still more adventures to come!

Grieving Quote

Favorite Quote of the day: "Grieving is a process we go through that helps us let go of hopes and dreams we no longer have. It's a process that helps us obtain new hopes and dreams." -Kent Allen #WWConference2018
